I have been on this site for a few weeks now and havent been able to make one single friend. Can any one offer me some avice as i am going crazy with boredom. I am a single male who would love to have a lady friend?

I don't come here very often. There is not much activity on this site. I am on other sites looking for shy women. I just put up a profile saying that I like shy women. No luck yet.

Thank you for emailing a reply. At least some body has replied and i know i am not on my own this shyness sucks for me aswell.

I am less shy than I used to be. I have worked on my flirting technique and it is pretty good now. But actually getting a gf is very hard for me. I had alcoholic parents and I have an avoidant personality disorder. I am in an online support group that is pretty good. Are you in one?

No i am not in any group at all. I am to shy to go any were on my own. I need some friends, especially girls. But i to am finding it difficult to approach anybody

msn's avoidant personality group is a good one. I post there all the time. Check it out - there are other guys like me there.
You are too shy to go anywhere? Sounds almost agorophobic. You are going to have to work on that before getting a gf. Have you tried cognitave behavioral therapy (CBT)?
